In the event of a personal data breach that is likely to pose a risk to your rights, Life College will notify the National Privacy Commission and affected individuals within the periods required by the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and its implementing rules, and will take immediate steps to contain and remediate the breach.

Student information is treated with the highest level of confidentiality.

Only authorized school personnel with legitimate educational responsibilities may access student records.

Parents or legal guardians may access student records in accordance with applicable laws and school policies.

Life College may operate CCTV systems within school premises to:

These services maintain their own privacy policies, and we encourage users to review them.

Life College keeps its official financial records in Intuit QuickBooks Online. With authorization from the School’s administrator, our services connect to the School’s own QuickBooks Online company to retrieve billing information so that parents and guardians can view their family’s billing status. Specifically:

• What we access: customer records (names and balances) and sales transactions (invoices, payments, and credits) belonging to the School’s own QuickBooks Online company — no other company’s data.
• Read-only: the integration only reads data. It never creates, modifies, or deletes anything in QuickBooks Online.
• Purpose limitation: QuickBooks data is used solely to display each family’s own billing information to that family and to authorized school finance staff. It is never used for advertising, profiling, or any other purpose, and it is never sold or shared with other third parties.
• What we send: nothing. Student records and other personal information held by the School are not transmitted to Intuit.
• Token security: QuickBooks access credentials (OAuth tokens) are stored server-side only, encrypted at rest and in transit, and are never exposed to browsers or end users.
• Storage and retention: billing information retrieved from QuickBooks may be temporarily cached in our secure database to display it efficiently. Cached data is refreshed or discarded as it becomes stale, and all QuickBooks tokens and cached QuickBooks data are deleted when the School disconnects the integration.
• Access within the System: a family can only see its own billing information; school staff access is limited by role.

Intuit’s handling of data within QuickBooks Online is governed by Intuit’s Global Privacy Statement. You may direct questions about the integration, or requests to delete cached QuickBooks data, to privacy@lifecollege.site.

Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173), you have the right to:

• Be informed about how your data is used
• Access your personal information
• Correct inaccurate information
• Request deletion where legally applicable
• Withdraw consent, where appropriate
• Object to certain types of data processing
• Request a copy of your personal information
• File a complaint with the appropriate authorities if your privacy rights have been violated
