Life College

Life College App

A guide for parents and students

What you can do in the app

One place to follow your child's school life β€” attendance, tuition, grades and school news. Everything is private to your family.

πŸšͺ

Gate arrival & departure

Get a notification the moment your child taps in at the gate in the morning, and again when they leave.

πŸ“‹

Attendance record

See the full record day by day β€” present, late, absent or excused β€” and the time they arrived.

🧾

Tuition and balance

Your current balance, what has been paid, and the next amount due. Official receipts are there too.

πŸ’³

Payments

Send proof of payment straight from your phone instead of queuing at the office.

πŸ“Š

Grades

Quarter grades and academic standing as soon as they are released.

πŸ“’

Announcements & events

School news, holidays and events β€” no more relying on a note in a bag.

πŸ’¬

Messages

Message the school office and your child's teachers directly.

πŸ“š

Library

Which books your child has borrowed and when they are due back.

How to install it

The app works on any phone. You do not need to pay for anything, and there is no App Store account required for iPhone.

πŸ€– On Android

  1. 1

    Download the app

Tap Download for Android (version 1.0.6). Your phone may warn that the file is from outside the Play Store β€” this is normal for school apps.
  2. 2

    Open the downloaded file

Pull down your notifications and tap the downloaded file, then tap Install. If asked, allow your browser to install apps.
  3. 3

Open Life College from your home screen

  4. 4

    Allow notifications

So you are told when your child arrives at school.

🍎 On iPhone or iPad

iPhone installs it straight from Safari. It must be Safari β€” Chrome on iPhone cannot add apps to the Home Screen.

  1. 1

    Open lifecollege.site in Safari

  2. 2

    Tap the Share button

The square with an arrow pointing up, at the bottom of the screen.
  3. 3

    Choose β€œAdd to Home Screen”

Scroll down the list if you do not see it, then tap Add.
  4. 4

Open Life College from its new icon

Important: open it from the icon, not from Safari. Notifications only work this way.
  5. 5

Allow notifications and location when asked

iPhone: tap Share in Safari
iPhone: Add to Home Screen
Android: tap Install
Allow notifications

Signing in

There is no password to remember. You sign in with your e-mail address.

  1. 1

Tap β€œSign in with email code”

  2. 2

Type the e-mail address the school has on file

This must be the same address you gave the school for your child. If you are not sure which one, see below.
  3. 3

    Check your e-mail for a 6-digit code

It arrives within a minute or two. Check your spam or junk folder if you do not see it.
  4. 4

Type the code and you are in

If your school e-mail is a Google account, you can tap Continue with Google instead and skip the code.

If you cannot sign in

Almost always this means the school has no e-mail address on file for you β€” so there is nowhere to send your code. Send us your details below and the office will add them.

First, a few quick checks

  • Look in your spam or junk folder for the code.
  • Make sure you typed the same e-mail you gave the school β€” not a newer one.
  • Yahoo and iCloud addresses sometimes delay the code by a few minutes.
  • Still nothing after 10 minutes? Use the form below.

Ask the school to add your e-mail

Fill this in and the office will link your e-mail to your child's record. You only need to do this once.

Parent / guardian details

Fill in whoever will use the app. At least one e-mail address is needed β€” that is where your sign-in code is sent.

We use these details only to link your account to your child in the school system. They are not shared with anyone else. See our Privacy Policy.

Already have the app? Download for Android or add it to your iPhone Home Screen using the steps above.
